"6.4% of men in England and Wales between the ages of 20 and 24 say they were victims [of abuse] over the last year, compared with 5.4% of women."
So if we are to assume this survey is valid and true, does this means that British men are more likely to have their ass kicked by their partner than British women? Well no. If you read further.
"The latest Home Office figures for 2007/8 show 2.2% of women of any age said their partner used minor or severe force against them over the last year. The figure for men was slightly lower at 2.0%"
So abuse is more broadly defined than physical force, but the related articles are more disturbing. While I don't condone violence as a relationship tool, I am more interested in what has emasculated of an entire generation of British men. What is especially interesting is that it is confined to 20-24 years.
